A two-step manufacturing route separates forming from final welding.
Coil is uncoiled, flattened and helically formed into pipe, then tack welded.
Inside and outside spiral seams are submerged arc welded on four welding lines.
Welds and pipe bodies undergo inspections and testing to the applicable specification.
Coating, end preparation and delivery planning complete the project scope.

Four submerged arc welding lines weld the internal and external spiral seams. Digital welding systems and optical seam tracking support the manufacturing process.
Hydrostatic testing, automated ultrasonic inspection and radiography support the requirements of the applicable order. The in-house laboratory performs mechanical and chemical evaluation.
See testing capabilitiesCoordinate external coating and internal lining with the operating environment, installation method and project specification.

Resolve more of the project scope before pipe leaves the mill.
Discuss joining requirements alongside the required pipe lengths.
End plates, conical tips, drive shoes and lifting eyes for specified applications.
Coal tar epoxy coating and selected minor fabrication, reviewed against the project scope.
